RantYoung men in crisis
So, recently the topic of masculinity came up somewhere and how young men are in crisis. Someone commented about how it's no wonder men get radicalized when they get told they are trash.
And it pissed me off. Men have treated women like shit for thousands of years when women couldn't say shit and now they're acting out because they can't handle "mean" women?
I find it genuinely baffling how women are not only held accountable for their own "radicalization", but that of men too. Of course it's not baffling. It's absolutely logical looking at both past and present time.
No man will look at a woman who claims to hate men and wonder, how did she get this way? They will say she had a bad experience with men, but we all have, yet a lot haven't learned to protest it. Or she's a hag, ugly, jealous, lesbian whatever. But when men act out men can't help but feel sorry for the man in question.
"Oh, how did this poor man get so radicalized?" "Nobody cares about us" "Male loneliness epidemic" blablabla
I'm sick of it.
For millennia men have raped, beaten and otherwise abused (women) themselves a way to dominance, but NOW there is a crisis? Men have ALWAYS been in crisis.
Men need to get deprogrammed that everything is about them and getting deprogrammed is hard, THAT is their crisis.

Ps: I'm sure there can be some more nuanced takes than this, but I was just fed up with men feeling so f*cking sorry for themselves.

Often these type of conversations are accompanied by statistics about male suicide and men failing in school. Suicide is awful and I definitely feel for those struggling with thoughts of it, but I can't help but feel bothered how these stastictics get men all doom & gloom but statistics about the percentage of men who commit crimes, including SA is just another day ending in Y.

You can invite them but don't be too shocked if their reaction is extremely negative. It's a long road from "There's no LGB without the TQ" to "I am no longer making excuses for the misogyny and homophobia in the TQ community and I don't want to be around them."
These posters sound like they've started down the path, but they don't seem to be near the end. Maybe I'm wrong.
I think so, it's really important to get people to see there are actually spaces out there that are not trans-infested.

Oh, they're ready! Even if they're not yet peaked, it probably won't be long before it happens and they'll end up here eventually.
If they're still talking about sapphic lesbians I don't think they're even close to ready to come here. Namedropping ovarit? Yes. Inviting them if they're not ready on their own? No. If they lurk here for a while they will either come around or not and request entry at their own leisure.

The fact that they don’t realize that the “TERF” label is literally just used by TRAs as a slur against us for speaking common sense that most normal people understand and believe — it’s so annoying lol. 🤦♀️ It’s such an echo-chamber that they have never even stopped to think on what circumstances would it be necessary to be able to differentiate between biological females and males who identify as “trans-women”.
They’ll realize eventually that there’s hardly any difference between us and them aside from us just wanting everyone to acknowledge reality and preserving women’s rights. They assume that we lack compassion for those with gender dysphoria, and they’re under the misconception that “TERF” means bigot. :/ One day they’ll get what we’re saying, but it’ll be a while, I’m guessing.
(I still can’t get over how men —both TIMs/TRAs on one side and incels/red-pillers/conservatives on the other— have twisted the word “feminist” to equal “bigot”. Such insanity.)
Same with the "cis-lesbian" terminology. Like, just say lesbian...
They may be using that term because it's the closest you can get to saying "real lesbian" without getting banned.
It's just the term younger people use. You have to realize not everyone is hyper aware of all this online bullshit.

I mean I agree, but in my experience I just found that women that use "sapphic" are more likely to align with trans ideology, while wlw are often fence cases.
