QuestionWho are the political reporters and analysts to follow?

Dustups happening in other threads about who has said/promised/threatened what in electioneering have me wondering, how do we find out what politicians and political parties have done? What bills have been passed, what has been changed, and what are its downstream implications? The enshittification of mainstream media means that reporting sucks down social media and squirts out clickbait, leaving the consumer with no idea as to the actual state of government. But we need to be looking at politicians' records more than listening to their rhetoric. Particularly with populists, whose bluster is performative (though dangerous) and full of deniability.

Has anyone got recommendations from their country/jurisdiction as to which writers/bloggers/substackers do knowledgeable and careful political analysis?
