Every man in that country is a profoundly worthless coward . Every man should be obstructing and running the Taliban out of there. Look at how hard this same culture of men vows to fight and take down the evil western nations. Many vow to martyr themselves for it, but it’s crickets for the Taliban? Worthless.

They’re not fighting because they want this. Even if they did fight and overthrow the Taliban, they would still impose these same limitations on these women. Most of these men are too Muslim to give a damn about women’s rights.
So much for men being protectors. Only of their privilege, not women.

The U.S.-trained and -supplied Afghan army folded like a cheap suit. I guess Afghan men will be ferocious against outsiders but won't even try to protect themselves from other Afghans.
This is horrific. Women cannot speak in public or even look at people they are not related to?
I wonder if there has ever been a more misogynistic culture in history.

I wish I had words to express how utterly sickened I am by men who treat women this way. Like… if I had a magic genie button that could instantly slaughter the entire Taliban along with every male coward who nodded along with their misogynistic bullshit, I would press it in an instant with zero hesitation or remorse and celebrate the world becoming a better place for it (and even that doesn’t feel strong enough to capture my rage at this shit).

I absolutely, 100% agree. If the circumstances are that dire, and they are (no adequate foreign assistance, the UN is worthless on women’s rights), take the men who made it that way with you. If Afghanistan becomes a hub of female domestic terrorists and serial killers, GOOD.

i dont know either. i think i dont really understand the etiquette here or something cause i keep getting downvotes. im not sure if what im saying is too unrelated or if im using words that are implying things im not aware of cause i dont know the culture here. i was previously using sites like reddit where just saying whatever comes to mind about a topic is norm, and people arent typically familiar with a certain specific way of talking about the subjects, and it seems very different here. which is probably good, im just not grasping the rhythm lol. im also a huge pessimist which i think is often misread as defeatism/nihilism to all but others who kinda speak your language

Good point. And also women and especially little girls sinply dont have it in them to be wantonly violent. It takes a special woman to do those things, but only an average man.
