Steinem said she has never heard a man ask for advice on how to balance his career with a wife.
As a single mother of two children, I can guarantee my ex husband does not wonder how he will juggle the job and the kids, who will look after them when they’re sick nor does he feel the real responsibility for their health and well-being.
The fact that women are as successful as we are DESPITE the additional responsibilities we have because we are the default carer and nurturer is nothing short of astounding.
Ex husband in question sent me a message tonight and he said (and I quote): we make a good combo, a ptsd ex service affected dad and a nurturing mother. I mean, the man is telling me he brings nothing to the table except mental health issues … and he thinks that makes a good combination.
I know it’s only a small, personal example of the patriarchy at play, but I can’t even imagine if we were able to really understand how much of an advantage they have just because … man.
Rant over.
Is that photo staged?
Yes, but still in bad taste

Yes, it's from some tv show, it's not real.
