Mumsnett has a couple of resident TIMs that tag-team to regularly derail any thread on women's rights. It is seriously unhinged the amount of time and effort they put in - like a mental hospital unhinged.
But we all know it is a phenomenon that is as predictable as the sun rising. Where ever girls or women try to have a private space away from men you can guarantee a full-on assault using every underhanded tactic available. Mostly it is a pile-on encouraged by a manosphere / TRA influencer that eventually moves on as Sauran's eye sees another woman’s light flickering to life.
Misogyny? Yes definitely
Entitlement? Check
Control issues? Yup
Men can have those and still mostly ignore women
But there is a subset of men/TIMs, who seem to have a dark triad of traits, who make it their MISSION in life to never let women have a moment of peace away from them.
Girls and women just want to be left alone, that thought, to these men invokes a primal destructive impulse like no other. If they were allowed to physically destroy us for those thoughts they would.
I see misogyny as the water we are living in, but these dudes are next-level toxic.
