DiscussionWhat does the West's "rightward" shift mean for feminism?

I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. For those who don't, right-wing parties are on the rise throughout Western countries, largely as a result of rising living costs and disastrous immigration policies.

Now, I don't live in the West, so I want to hear from women living there: what does this shift mean for you? I'm sure there have been such periods in the past -- I'm only 20, so it's "new" to me -- regardless, I wanna know how things could pan out. I'm also aware that Labour is back in power in the UK, but I haven't looked into how they're handling things right now.

Obviously, the Right has been a net negative in the case of abortion in the US. However, right-wingers are also more likely to oppose transgender ideology, which is the only positive factor I can see for our movement. I also notice that European right-wing parties are not that conservative, but I don't know about Aus., NZ, and Canada.

Let me know your views, thanks! ✨

I'm average (but a bit on the shorter side) myself, and I tend to prefer women of the same size or slightly smaller, though this is not a particularly relevant factor for me.

To the other question, I don't think my preference has ever changed, not until now at least!

Wait did this post change your preference?

I meant to say "not for now", I guess. Sorry for the confusion!
