“It is not the Nordic Model that creates the “underground” sex industry. Full decriminalisation would increase the size of the “underground” in the UK because the massive increase in demand which would follow would be followed by a huge increase in the number of women being drawn into prostitution in the UK and most of these women will be in precarious situations which necessitate being “off the books”.”
