DiscussionThoughts on Sikhism?

Everyone is (hopefully) aware of the misogyny inherent to Abrahamic religions, and occasionally, the misogyny of Eastern religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism comes up in conversation. However, I have never seen Sikhism discussed from a feminist perspective, and I'm curious if there's anyone out there who knows more about its relation to women than I do.

Sikhism is relatively new in the grand scheme of major world religions, less than 1,000 years old. Its tenets seem to have some focus on justice and equality, and the religion itself appears to be inherently against the Hindu caste system present in much of India, though many Sikhs do still abide by caste.
