Trump's threats of annexation should be taken seriously.
Someone who repeatedly threatens friendly countries and territories (in this case, Canada, Greenland, and Panama) with threats of annexation is not merely bluffing. There is no logical reason for Trump to be saying this shit, but in doing so, he's managed to make friendly nations wary of the United States.
Annexation would mean a ground invasion. And as we know, men's favorite weapon of war is their penis.
I'm worried for indigenous women as well, especially for Greenland, where nearly 90% of the population has mixed Inuit heritage. The United States has not been kind to indigenous women. It sterilized many of them against their will throughout the 1960s and 70s, and I don't doubt that this would continue if Trump were to successfully annex the territory.
Trump is not the meme candidate he was in 2015 and 2016. If he's threatening friendly countries with annexation, he's doing it for a reason. He may still look like a clown, but he is a very dangerous man.
