Because I said douching was harmful to women. I was called transphobic because TIMs who have had penile inversion surgery need to douche to keep their neovaginas clean (you can imagine the TRA-speak that was actually said to me). That was my first step on the road to peaking.
Omfg I had the exact same experience! I was explaining to a teenage girl why douching was a bad plan and was probably the cause of her symptoms. She is the first person ever to directly call me transphobic because some women need to douche after they have affirming surgery. Sigh
Wow. Just another way the BS is hurting women and future generations of girls. Disgusting. Womenâs health education has always been largely neglected and so many girls grow up without any real guidance or understanding of their bodies. And now, even when they are seeking guidance we canât provide them with facts, because those facts might hurt the feelings of TIM. Horrible to think of all the young girls who will end up taking bad advice from cosplaying men whoâve mutilated themselves, who will suffer ill health effects as a result. And even sicker is the fact that to the TIMs, this is probably seen as a win, because they hate real women/girls so much.
Itâs as simple as being allowed to use a different fucking word to distinguish between real women and TIMâbut no. The health of young girls is beneath the feelings and demands of TIMs. So now we canât even tell girls that douching is harmful.
I hate this shit.
Miley Cyrus was called transphobic for talking about her sexuality in an interview
Cyrus: "everyone knows that tits are prettier than balls... That's what ended up making female relationships make more sense to me."
TRA: âI don't think Miley meant to traffic in TERF talking points, but the fact is that she didâ
Omg thatâs like when lil nas x said he likes dick after someone accused him of being straight and the TRAs were like ânot all men have dicksâ
I got called a transphobe over saying that two spirit was invented at a conference in 1990, which it was.
I was told that not supporting the make up and plastic surgery industries was transphobic!
And that âwomen and girls should be able to feel comfortable in their natural bodiesâ is a terf dog whistle.
I've said it here before but this was a big part of my waking up to how harmful trans 'culture' is. I was slogging away in therapy because I have severe body dysmorphia (that was manifesting as an obsession with plastic surgery) that I'm determined to overcome, then logging onto Twitter only to be inundated with post-surgery face reveals and TIMs being celebrated for getting a ton of filler.
Lol. Makes sense. They are reliant on solidifying the rigid BS definition of women as bimbo sex objects so for you to suggest that being a sex object ISNâT fundamental to being a woman must really trigger them big time. Thatâs the only way they can âbeâ a woman, after allâtits, makeup, dresses and acting like willing sex objects. How dare you suggest that that crap doesnât equal âwoman.â
After all, in their eyes if a woman isnât obsessed with makeup and looking sexually attractive, sheâs less of a woman than they are.
Itâs funny because every one of the things Iâve read in this thread is the sameâthey unload TERF/transphobic insults anytime anyone says something that contradicts the false reality they are dead set on creating. Itâs CRITICAL to them that we not be able to speak or be heard, lest it weaken their position or credibility of their lies.
How did you respond to that?
Surely comments like that are just them admitting theyâre misogynists.
I got called nasty TERF for saying that, as a lesbian, I don't like penis, lol. Also on tumblr (yeah, I know...), I saw someone claim that saying "I'm a gold-star lesbian" is transphobic because it excludes "women with penises". Yeah. Right.
Fuck lesbophobia! You shouldn't have had to deal with that.
And the gold star thing: lmao
Honestly, I found both things so absurd, I could only laugh :D But then, I'm a nasty middle-aged lesbian TERF witch so of course I'd laugh at this horrendous pain, lol.
You should work on your cackle, it increases the witchy flair :)
Fun fact, the other day, we ran a 12 person trial in the online game I play with my better half and a new player said "I want that laugh as my ringtone" when I did laugh, so I guess it has some sort of flair... :D

All my life, there are people who haven't been sexually attracted to me for all kinds of reasons. Somehow I lived!
Even worse, somehow I prefer that most people not be sexually attracted to me! What a headache it usually is when they are, that really it's more than fine when they're not.
I mark that twitter exchange with Lil Was X as the start of my peaking (better late than never).
I think it's what made a lot of younger people and LGBTQ online people realize how annoying and insufferable trans activists/obsessives can be.
I mean at this point I'd say it's a red flag and a giveaway that you're boring.
Lol, I saw that at that time, too. It made me laugh also because, I mean, did they think he was going to have sex with them in the first place for any reason at all?
Adele: "I really love being a woman and being a female artist."
I honestly can't help but laugh at this, they are being so DRAMATIC. "I love being a woman!" "OMG SHE WANTS TO DESTROY US" Like... how do you even GET there.
One of the things that first peaked me was seeing this young woman being called transphobic for questioning trans womenâs âperiodsâ. She was being super polite, and was clearly just genuinely confused by it, but by saying that the blood is a pretty essential part of a period, that was enough for her to be deemed evil. It really opened my eyes to how TRAs just donât give a shit about women.
Theyâre playing pretend and they want to be real victims! They suffer female biology too! Shhhhh donât ask questions!
One of the first time I was called a "TERF" was by a bunch of old AGPs on some Facebook group when I was about 16 or 17 years old, for the crime of saying "I don't really know why a transwoman would want to have a period, mine are very painful and uncomfortable".
There have been many nonsensical takes, basically it's transphobic to disagree with any take on gender besides complete agreement. I've wondered what the difference was between gender and personality typing, like Meyers-Briggs.
My favorite was when I said that people with gender dysphoria deserved ethical and evidence based medicine. That's apparently transphobic.
I was at a board game group, where before we started playing they wanted us all to introduce ourselves "my name is X and I am a he/she". One of the guys, as a joke introduced himself as "my name is H and I am an it." He got called out for being transphobic as identifying as an "it" apparently made a mockery of those who feel it's helpful to share their pronouns. There weren't even any trans people in the group.
I once called out a male "enby" for mansplaining. It did not go well (especially as I was trying very hard to "be kind" still in those days).
And just recently, a friend of mine started sharing a craft she'd been making -- they're candles with little faux gems and things embedded throughout with flowery uterus/tube/ovary imagery on the candle jar. They're super pretty (and I'm not even into those things) and she asked for suggestions to name them. Sure enough, one of the comments was "TERF tarts." Because I guess only TERFs have uteri.
It's extremely bigoted to ever reference female anatomy!! TEXTBOOKS ARE TERFS! /s lmao
And of course, an "enby" identity is the "get out of male free" card xD
I think the silliest one I've seen is still the person who was being accused of transphobia for not sufficiently varying their use of several different preferred pronouns within any given day đ
Wait, did I get this right, this was about the pronouns of that person in question? As in, they didn't vary their own pronouns enough?
Er, it was someone else not using a variation of their pronouns. I forget if they were actually a man or a woman, but they were mad that they had several different preferred pronouns listed but that other people would only use a particular set of them throughout the day instead of a mix.
Reblogging women's health related posts where OP is a TERF.
If you don't shun all non-believers, you too risk being branded a heretic. Ridiculous.
PinkNews (yes, that PinkNews) has been called transphobic by the TRA Twitter brigade recently for reporting on a survey taken of "sexual minorities" ... i.e. LGB people.
If you're on Twitter you can look at some of the indignant replies and QTs of their tweet about the story.
(An astute mind will note that, within the worldview of gender ideology, one can be trans and LGB, so there's nothing "trans exclusionary" about focusing on people who have "minority sexualities." But we can't let ideological consistency or reason get in the way of a good knee-jerk, can we.)
Those signs that say "No LGB without the T" really start to look like threats.
I wonder if the whining would have been greater or less if they just used same-sex attracted. But I suppose the original study couldn't do it because (I assume) it considered "Transbians" as lesbians.
Considering how inconsistent their own ideology is, it can literally be pretty much anything. If they want to label you a transphobe, they will. They might even throw a 'racist' in there for good measure, doesn't matter if you're a black woman saying women are real to a white man, because in TRA mouths those words are just things to unperson someone you don't like.
There was an art blog on Tumblr that reblogged a lot of references and everything was tagged. Male and female anatomy was tagged accordingly.
Around 2016, the mod got an anon complaint over posts being tagged male or female, and was told to use the trans-approved terms âafabâ and âamabâ instead. Mod told anon that male and female are medical terms used to describe biological sex and wasnât going to use obscure terms that would only confuse people. Mod even went out of her way to say âsex and gender are differentâ which she thought was an acceptable statement at the time.
Well she got called a transphobe and got a lot of angry responses. Still, she defended herself and stood by what she said before. A week later she said she was gonna take a short break (she didnât say why but the reason was obvious since she never announced a sudden break without reason before). She eventually decided she was never gonna come back (canât blame her).
It was an online discussion under an article in which a TiM (a sensitivity consultant for tv) mentioned that he's an "older woman" and that he has more experience what being a woman means now that he's gone through menopause (!!!).
Someone questioned how a person who does not have a uterus and natural hormones would be going through menopause and was promptly called transphobic for it.
I got banned from a Reddit group for transphobia for calling Dylan Mulvaney âDylanâ and not âsheâ. Apparently my obvious avoidance of using âsheâ by using his name is transphobia
I was tarred and feathered for linking a study that showed conversion therapy was ineffective. They really tell on themselves don't they?
A journalist in Austria recently labeled the sentence "A woman doesn't have a penis" as transphobic, directing that label at feminists in general and Kellie-Jay Keen in particular. I'd wager there are more dumb reasons for a calling someone transphobic, though.

The amount of âTERFs secretly fantasize about being raped by TIMsâ takes Iâve seen⌠Thatâs a terrible way to think about it, and it makes no sense. Would these people tell a girl worried about getting assaulted, say, while walking home alone at night, âOh, youâre just fantasizing about a sexy stranger assaulting you. You want thatâ?
Itâs projection, theyâre just saying how much they want to rape bio women.
Back in the day, before genderwoo really got its hooks in and nonsense like this became socially acceptable (especially when directed at lesbians and gay guys), I was frequently called a transphobe for saying I was bisexual instead of pan because it's eXcLuSiOnArY! đ
Fellow bisexual here, and I remember those days! Seems almost quaint now đ
I called myself pansexual out of fear for years đ¤˘
Thatâs hilarious because the idea of pansexuality is itself transphobic. TRAs could use it for male, female, and non-binary, but Iâve almost always seen it defined as male, female, and trans, which implies that TIPs are not the sex they present, as bisexual would cover it if TRAs really believed TWAW and TMAM.

for a while (not sure about now) the popular definition of pansexuality was attraction to people âregardless of genderâ. or âhearts not partsâ. so, functionally identical to bisexuality, except people identifying as pansexual got to feel enlightened and separate themselves from the sexual aspect of sexuality.
Funny considering thereâs like 8 million flags for every flavor of gender and sexual preference but you picked one thatâs not allowed!
