Feminism is the movement to liberate women from patriarchy.
We stand up for the rights of women as a sex-class. Women have a right to bodily autonomy and to set their own boundaries and have them respected. We resist efforts to limit women's reproductive autonomy. We condemn the men who exploit and abuse women in prostitution and pornography. We oppose all harms and forms of exploitation of women and girls, regardless of whether or not they're sold as "choice" or re-framed as "empowering." We oppose the movement to redefine "women" in a way that erases the realities of our lives and makes organizing for our liberation as a sex-class impossible.
"In the radical feminist view, the new feminism is not just the revival of a serious political movement for social equality. It is the second wave of the most important revolution in history. Its aim: the overthrow of the oldest, most rigid class/caste system in existence, the class system based on sex – a system consolidated over thousands of years, lending the archetypal male and female roles an undeserved legitimacy and seeming permanence." –Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex
This is another sledgehammer approach this administration is taking. Last I heard, the purge is done by AI not real people. (I mean, they fired everyone so there's no one really there working . . . ) It's not just women but also blacks like the Tuskegee pilots, etc. They said they'll put historical content back in later after review but I'm not sure who'll be left at work to review and put things back in . . .
I'm not against cutting government waste and vanity causes programs or getting rid of DEI BS but the way they're going about is a wrecking ball.
It being done by AI isn’t a defense since that means the AI was directed to remove mentions of women and black peoples contributions as automatically “woke nonsense “ or as you put it, “DEI bs” instead of…reality.
Women and myriad non white people contributed to our society and often their merit went unrecognized due to prejudice that anything we do has no merit, if we did it was a fluke/emabrrassing lets talk about the real men now.
Id like waste cut but they’re not cutting government waste they’re cutting government services which is…the point of a government “for the people”
Also it’s a complete waste of manpower if you’re saying they need to hire people to undo the work of their demented AI model (which they won’t since I doubt it was an accident) The definition of government waste- spending money to fix a problem then more money to unfix the thing they “fixed”.
What a dumb GOVERNMENT WASTE of time and money because hysterical male egos coded woman and black as ouchy words
