I'm surprised we have so many unique IPs! That tells me that a LOT of people are lurking....

...perhaps journalists whose institutions are failing to report? People who know deep in their hearts that all of this is wrong and need a place to get their news?

This site and issue more than anything has made me hyper-critical of "the news".

I mean I have lurked since this cites start, I only recently got an account— in part due to laziness. I am sure I am not the only one

I think many laypeople are looking for answers and finding them here, it is just an extra step to make an account.

I am not surprised about the numbers of lurkers, probably a lot of men watching and its a great hub just to find links to these stories the mainstream media and too frightened to report on.
